The information regarding the conference’s location, schedule, and hotel accommodations, along with a downloadable registration form, is outlined below. We encourage you to stay updated as we finalize the arrangements.
Thursday, September 11th: Registration and Welcoming Reception that evening
Friday, September 12th: Train Excursion
Saturday, September 13th: Speakers and Evening Banquet with COHS presentation
Sunday, September 14th: Breakfast wrap up meeting with final presentations.
“The Ohio University Inn & Conference Center” The Ohio University Inn & Conference Center is delighted to offer preferred rate of $129.00 per room, per night (plus applicable taxes) to those visiting Athens, Ohio with the “Chesapeake & Ohio Historical Society”. The block date is Thursday, September 11, 2025, to Sunday, September 14, 2025. Reservations must be made prior to Thursday, September 4, 2025, to receive the discounted rate. Rooms reserved after the release date, or once the block is full, will be accepted based upon availability and at the regular published rate. Please note: Check-in time is 4:00pm and Check-out time is 11am. Early check-in on weekends may not be available. We highly encourage reserving a room on Friday evening if attending an early Saturday event.
