The C&O Railway Heritage Center Museum Interpretive Panels
Browsing the informative panels and displays inside the restored 1895 freight depot gives visitors the historical knowledge of when, how, and why the railroad was built, the struggles that were endured, and triumphs that were celebrated as the railroad was constructed from Virginia's Tidewater Region across the mountainous terrain of West Virginia to reach the Ohio River Valley. This CD contains 60 high resolution PDF files of the interpretive panels as presented inside the museum. The PDF format allows the user to search by keyword so a particular topic may be found quickly. If you haven't been to the museum or would like to visit again from the comfort of you home this is a wonderful way to experience C&O history.
