The Coal River Railway was incorporated in 1905 to build up the Coal River from the C&O mainline at St Albans, WVa. It eventually aggregated 68 miles of track and was operated by the C&O from the date of organization until it was merged into the C&O in 1909. (See page from Corporate History.) This employee timetable shows operations just before the merger into the C&O and includes information on the Big Coal Division and the Little Coal Division.
