This is a reprint of a book issued by the C&O in 1938 which compiled recollections originally published in Chesapeake & Ohio Lines Magazine, the public relations and employees magazine for the company. Mr. Frazier recalls early construction work on the C&O starting in the 1880s. Frazier worked in various engineering capacities for the company over the years from the 1880s through the 1920s.
