George Washington Booklet/Journal

These beautiful booklets can be a journal or a notebook, but however you choose to use yours, this item has a story.

This exclusive item was created by Base Camp Printing Company in Charleston, West Virginia, and manufactured by hand on a vintage 1930s cast-iron printing press.  Letterpress is a traditional process that revives the intimacy of printed items pressed into paper from a custom plate.  As you can see in the accompanying video (Click Here to view video)  of our custom booklets, every sheet of paper is hand-fed through the letterpress one at a time, one color at a time.

The front cover displays the Chesapeake & Ohio’s 1932 slogan for The George Washington passenger train, "The Most Wonderful Train in the World," along with President Washington's silhouette, and the back cover display the Chesapeake & Ohio Lines logo.

This product is a fascinatingly elegant gift that can be carried with you daily.
