Although the date is 1930, this scheme, with the usual year-to-year variation of any operation such as this, was more-or-less in effect until the early 1950's, when LCL freight began its fast decline to oblivion because of motor-freight competition. Modelers can use this book in setting up LCL cars to move from station-to-station, etc.
