C&O Operating Rules - 1951
124 page booklet (pocket size original) covering operating rules for the C&O effective March 31, 1951. This gives all operating rules for train crews in details such things as signal aspects, hand signals, train orders, rights of trains, and many other things pertinent to the general operation of the railway. This book was issued in 1951, when centralized traffic control was just beginning to be implemented system-wide.
We recommend you also acquire DS-00-190 which is the 1958 Rule Book. It includes signal aspects pertinent to CTC operations.
