C&O Fast Freight Schedules, Mar. 1964

This booklet reprinted on 34 pages of 8 ½ by 11 paper, shows manifest freight schedules for all major points on the C&O System as of March 1964. Easy to read timetables, much like passenger timetables, show each train s schedule and arrival and departure times at all terminals. “Chessie Service for Special Purpose” side bars provide additional photos and notes about the types of freight cars in use, TOFC, Lake Michigan Car Ferries, steel shipments, DF Loaders, automobile carriers, insulated compartmentizers, DF-B cars, cushion under frame cars, and Ocean shipping at New Port News. By this date the C&O and B&O were joining forces, but this booklet was issued as a C&O only publication.
