George Washington China Brochure – 1932 Reproduction
Full-color Brochure of 18 pages issued in 1932 and given as a souvenir to people who dined on The George Washington in its first few years of operation.
The brochure has color lithographs showing the diners fully set, the famous service plate and other pieces in detail, the kitchen, and background about the train. A full list of all the china pieces is given along with pricing in case the passenger wanted to purchase any for personal use.
Timetable and menu are also contained in this famous brochure. Originals are occasionally offered on eBay and at RR shows at fairly high prices. – This scan was made from a clean, high-quality original in the C&OHS collection.
