C&O Coal Districts Location Maps and Production Charts

Periodically the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway issued a booklet showing coal district maps and depicting the relative location of each mine and tabular data about the shipments of coal from each mine from 1902 to the date of the pamphlet (in this case 1943). Additional tabular material gives figures, for the same period, of coal shipped by C&O Subdivision. The data presented paints a very complete picture of the volume, direction of shipment, and historic development of coal mining on the C&O in the first half of the 20th Century. Printed on 8 ½ x 11 paper this booklet comprises of 19 sheets printed on one side.
