C&O Coal Districts with Maps - Oct. 1947

This booklet was provided as the introductory letter states, for a three-day tour of the Chicago Coal Merchants Association into the C&O coal fields in October 1947.

Reprinted in its original format on 8.5 x 11 paper, with 3 pre-drilled holes, it includes photocopies of maps, photographs and charts. It is a summary of each coal field, with a map listing of each C&O subdivision, and gives statistics on the types and properties of coal mined in each district. A good set of Coal field map by district and branch line.
