The 45 drawings reprinted in this set are taken from original C&O Railway's X-series drawings. Modelers often like to create scenes with small structures. This packet of information would be an ideal resource to prototype and freelance model railroaders. These small drawings often show the structure, associated dimensions, as well as the track layout and where the various surrounding structures are located. (Some times the surrounding structures are what is most valuable as they show the location of all the surrounding structures: the tool house, box car building, laborers shanty, church, and platform, etc.) Most of these were drawn between the 1920-1930's, when the structures were built; many of these structures served through the steam era and beyond until the 1960's. This set includes structures such as powder magazine, tool houses, toilets, supply houses, dope house, hose house, chemical house, pump house, shelter sheds (freight and passenger), laborers shanties, bunk houses, several interesting standard drawings, and much more.
