C&O Passenger Train Consist Book No. 12 (Effective Nov. 1965)

This is a 20 page reprint of and official C&O document will provide a Prototype Modeler with very valuable information on how each train was to be made up, stating the type of car, its line destination (in the case of sleepers) and the terminal to and from which it operated. The index includes the following: General instructions, Instructions for holding trains for connections, consist of through passenger trains, dining car operations, consist trains Northern Region, Postal and Mail Apartment car authorizations, and Mail and Express Line operations.

With model railroaders becoming much more interested in prototypical consist and operations, this will provide much valuable information! With the information in this booklet, running passenger trains on a model railroad does not have to be boring anymore!!! Also, this could serve as the inspiration and basis for Modelers who wish to develop documents for their own model railroads to operate under.
