In intervals of every 2-3 years C&O issued a booklet with detailed information about all the coal mines on the line, their locations, addresses, by whom they were owned, where the coal was marketed, and, of course, about the C&O's part in all of this. C&O was like other railroads in issuing these detailed directories for their principal traffic. This booklet was issued in 1957 and shows maps and lists and locates mines on each map. The compilations divided by fields, east-to west along the C&O system.
