Great T-shirt featuring a mechanical drawing of Chessie 29, our new, important car at the Heritage Center.
This is the car that carried President Eisenhower to the Greenbrier Hotel in March, 1956 when he met with C&O President Walter Tuohy. They decided on building the Congressional nuclear war relocation bunker under the hotel’s new West Virginia Wing, a fact not known until 1992. The shirt is blue with yellow lettering in keeping with the original colors of the car and has the C&O for Progress herald/logo that was in use in 1956 when Eisenhower’s famous trip was made to White Sulphur Springs on the car.
Blue, with yellow lettering.
