This is another color book from Morning Sun Books. It contains some very nice photos of C&O first and second-generation diesel-powered trains in all parts of the system, from the 1960s-70s as well as some nice Chessie System material. Most classes of engines are covered, including some nice ALCOs.
Passenger and freight power and trains are here as well as some good late steam pictures of C&O H-8s and K-4s, as well as some Pere Marquette Pacifics and 2-8-4s. Rare Stuff!
If you like to look at good color photos, this book is for you! Most pictures are two to a page with some smaller and some full-page, but they display well and give you a good view of the equipment being illustrated. Captions are concise and informative. C&OHS member Everett Young has several of his photos in the book.
