Chesapeake & Ohio EMD SD40 Locomotive, Blue w/Yellow, Paragon4 Sound/DC/DCC, HO Scale by Broadway Limited
AVAILABLE IN TWO ROAD NUMBERS
The EMD SD40 is an American 6-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors. Between 1966 and 1972, GM built 1268 of these locomotives before introducing the new SD40-2. The SD40s operated throughout the US and Canada for decades. Broadway Limited Imports is proud to announce our first production of these diesel models in 2022. Our first run will include models of ten different railroads with prototypically accurate road numbers, paint schemes, and road-specific details and lighting. Each model has our newest Paragon4 Sound/DC/DCC control system featuring Rolling Thunder, and is equipped with an integral GoPack capacitor pack.
