C&O Passenger & Freight Station, Cass, W.V.a,  T-Shirt

From the C&O Historical Society's archive and the talent of Bob Hundman, now added to our C&O structure series t-shirts, we are excited to showcase the second depot at Cass, West Virginia that stood from 1923 to 1975.  Currently the longest-standing station from this famous location, the wooden structure endured 52 years in the wilds of Pocahontas County as a passenger and freight station on the Greenbrier Subdivision.

With Cass experiencing increased rail traffic following the reopening of the line between Cass and Durbin, our historical organization celebrates this milestone while taking a look back at the structure that was the center of activity for the region for over half a century.  Whether you were boarding a passenger train for distant cities on the Chesapeake & Ohio main line, or receiving freight from far-away manufacturers, it could all be completed within this humble structure that connected Cass to the wider world.
