The diagrams were issued in standard format by “the Advisory Mechanical Committee in Cleveland, which standardized many mechanical operations and functions forthe various railroads controlled by the Van Sweringen brothers of Cleveland, including: C&O, PM, NKP, Erie. These standards were used on C&O until 1969. This particular book is as updated through October 1949.
