This lineside detail can be seen time and time again adjacent to C&O depots from as far back as 1949 (and possibly earlier) to the late 1970s and beyond. Everyone’s so busy looking at the building they miss these. While no drawings are available, thanks to the many photographs available to us, we can offer a very accurate model to those who strive for “the perfect scene.”
This model’s scale footprint is approximately 10’ by 5’. It will arrive as a 3 piece kit that you will assemble and paint. Some minor cleanup may be necessary. The parts included are the platform, lampshade, and a small length of wire to be use for the gooseneck. While this model is painted in the more common weathered black, we’ve seen some that were white, so do your homework and have some fun with this one.
