General Arrangement Catalog
This catalog consists of a listing of official C&O mechanical drawings of the “General Arrangement” type, arranged by car of equipment type and number. These drawings generally measure about 4 feet by 3 feet in size and show the design of the equipment being treated in rivet-by-rivet detail, with dimensions and sizes. They are the equivalent for cars of the “Erecting Card” drawings for locomotives. They were used by shop forces to build, rebuild, or repair the cars, and should be ideal for the detailed modeler. We have already supplied many of these top model makers.
The collection of about 300 drawings in this catalog comprises many of the car types and series operational on the C&O from about 1930 to the early 1970s, so should fit nicely with the interest period of most people.
