Schedules shown are for information and guidance of employees engaged in manifest freight train terminal and line-of-road operations.
There will be no deviation from these classlifcations and schedules without approval of regional manager and manager transportation. Changes will be covered by written instructions and issuance of corrected pages to this book.
Extra sections of scheduled trains will operate as advance sections carrying classifications of the regular train.
Perishable and livestock shipments will receive preference in train forwardings. Covered hoppers, tank cars and all categories of specially equipped cars must receive movement continuity same as loaded cars.
High and wide shipments exceeding dimensions and weights published in “Railway Line Clearances” and/or circular ST-157 must be handled in accordance with instructions issued by office of superintendent transportation.
